Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy visited the tragic site of Godavari boat mishap on Monday morning. The CM took an aerial survey of the incident spot and monitored the search and rescue operations. Following this, the minister will now visit the Government General Hospital, Rajahmundry and interact with the survivors.

Around 11:00 AM, the Chief Minister is also expected to address the media in Rajahmundry. This is going to be Jagan’s first direct interaction with the media after he assumed the Chief Minister’s office about three and a half months back.

The Chief Minister had earlier announced Rs 10 lakh ex-gratia for the families of deceased in Godavari boat tragedy.
