Hyderabad: Actress Janhvi Kapoor's domestic help has tested positive for COVID-19. She posted a statement on Instagram, which was issued by her father Boney Kapoor, that said Charan had been unwell on Saturday and was sent for testing. When he tested positive, Boney Kapoor, with the help of BMC officials, sent him to a quarantine centre. The housing society was immediately informed and they are taking necessary precautions, the statement said.
Boney Kapoor said his daughters Janhvi and Khushi and others residing in his house have so far not shown any symptoms. He said they are taking all the prescribed precautions and haven't stepped out of the house ever since the lockdown. The family, however, have decided to quarantine themselves for the next 14 days.
Boney Kapoor said he was sharing the information with fans so as to avoid any panic or rumours. The Kapoor family thanked the BMC for taking necessary actions immediately.
