JU Students Union files complaint against Union Minister Babul Supriyo

Kolkata: The Arts Faculty Students Union (AFSU) of the Jadavpur University has filed a police complaint against Union minister Babul Supriyo, accusing him of misconduct during the ruckus & high drama that unfolded at the University on Thursday.

In the complaint filed at Jadavpur Police Station, it has been alleged that Babul along with his guards misbehaved with the protesting students.

The AFSU also lodged a complaint against the five members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) for assaulting and harassing students including women and vandalising the property of the University.

The complaint by the left-leaning AFSU has termed Babul as the main ‘accused’ in this entire incident.
