Kaappaan trailer ‘punches’ through social media

Hyderabad: Suriya’s upcoming film ‘Kaappaan’ trailer is out and the movie is action-packed. The video of the trailer has been shared and retweeted several times since its release.
The video shows Suriya in the disguise of an undercover agent, farmer and a bureaucrat.
Sayyeeshaa is seen in many scenes and also romancing Suriya. Mohan Lal plays the role of a Prime Minister who is seen glorifying the sacrifices of the soldiers. Actor Arya plays the PM’s son and has a brief appearance in the trailer.
‘Kaappaan’ is directed by K.V. Anand and has Mohan Lal, Arya, Samuthirakani, Boman Irani in key roles. ‘Kaappaan’ is said to be the costliest film ever produced by Suriya in his career. The movie is bankrolled by Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions.
Music is by Harris Jayaraj and the songs have peppy tunes and beats. Cinematography is by Abhinandan Ramanujam and Anthony has edited the movie.
The movie is said to hit the screens on September 20.
