CM KCR undergoes medical check-up at Yashoda Hospital

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K ChandraShekar Rao, on Tuesday evening, was taken to Yashoda Hospital at Somajiguda after he complained of illness, sources in the CM office said. He was discharged around 11 in the night. He is reportedly suffering from viral fever and respiratory infection.

After completing the campaign trails last held at Erravelli , the Chief Minister reached his residence, Pragati Bhavan at around 6. 00 PM on Tuesday .

It said that, while coordinating the last minute's strategies with key political leaders ahead of the polls scheduled to take place on January 22nd, KCR complained of poor health. Sources said the three doctors who were present at Pragati Bhavan advised to shift the CM to Yashoda Hospital at Somajiguda for a complete body checkup.

'The state chief is currently under observation, a detailed medical bulletin will be issued later. However there is no admission, said Yashoda hospital authorities. The cycle of test took close to 3 hours.

The law and order personnels including the city traffic were caught off guard following the unplanned travel of the Chief Minister. Adequate security was deployed along the Somajiguda main road and beyond the hospital premises.

Not to long ago, KCR had visited Delhi for his eye-check up.
