Keesara Tahsildar, two real estate dealers in ACB net, Rs 1.10 crore cash unearthed

Hyderabad: Sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau-Telangana raided a house in A S Rao Nagar, Hyderabad and caught red-handed Keesara Tahsildar and two real estate dealers engaged in illegal transactions. The officials unearthed cash to the tune of Rs 1 crore 10 lakh cash.

ACB sleuths were acting upon intelligence inputs about cash transaction with regard to large parcel of land in Rampally.

A source told Newsmeter, Erva Balraju Nagaraju (47) Tahsildar of Keesara connived with Chowla Srinath (50) real estate dealer of Sri Satya Developers, Swaroop nagar, Uppal and Kandadi Anji Reddy (40) another real estate dealer from Rampally Dayara, Keesara Mandal.

“Based on a tip off, a house in A S Rao Nagar was raided on 14th August evening.The Tahsildar in connivance with real estate dealers were engaged in cash transaction with regard to 28 acres of land at Rampally Dayara, Keesara Mandal. Earlier the land was under dispute, however few parties approached the High court and received favourable orders. The Tahsildar demanded bribe of Rs 2 crore to issue pattadar passbook” said a source.

Sri Bongu Sairaj (32) Village Revenue Assistant, Rampally was also caught along with Tahasildar.

The house in which the ACB conducted raided belongs to one Anji Reddy's friend who is currently in Andhra Pradesh.
