Kiara Advani bags another Telugu film?

Hyderabad: Actor Kiara Advani has become popular down south after playing the leading lady in Mahesh Babu-starrer Bharat Ane Nenu and Ram Charan Tej-starrer Vinaya Vidheya Rama. In both films, she played the girl next door and won hearts.

Kiara was then seen playing Preeti in Kabir Singh and from there, no explanation is needed as it is known how a big hit the film was. She was also a part of a disaster called Kalank. Currently, she has films like Good Newwz, Laxmmi Bomb, Indoo Ki Jawani, Shershaah and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in her kitty. Kiara Advani, who has already become a heartthrob, is quite busy now with back-to-back films.

Well, the latest buzz is that Kiara will be teaming up with Varun Tej Konidela for his upcoming film. Sources say that talks are going on and the actor is almost okay being a part of the film. An official confirmation though is awaited.

Touted to be a sports drama, the film will be directed by debutante Kiran Korrapati. Varun Tej will be seen essaying the role of a professional boxer. To fit well into the role, he already underwent an intense training programme for two months in Los Angeles and worked on his body transformation. Olympic Gold medalist Tony Jeffries has trained Varun in the boxing part and ‘Rocky’ actor Carl Weathers acted as a consultant.

The film is jointly bankrolled by Allu Venkatesh (Bobby) and Sidhu Mudda, and is expected to go on floors from December. It’s learnt that a major chunk of the budget will be dedicated to action sequences which will be supervised by Hollywood choreographers.

Varun’s recent films F2 and Gaddalakonda Ganesh have been blockbusters at the box office. The films have expanded his fanbase as well as the market. More updates will be shared soon.
