Hyderabad: Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film `Acharya’ is generating a lot of buzz and the Megastar’s fans are eagerly waiting for its release.

The latest speculation is the filmmakers are looking for an actress to play a cameo in the movie.

Apparently, Ram Charan is said to have approached his good friend Kiara Advani to play the cameo in the film. But Chiru has intervened and has reportedly suggested Rashmika Mandanna for the role. Both actresses are quite popular in the Telugu film industry and there is no doubt that either one of them would boost the film’s expectations amongst moviegoers.

The film is said to be an action entertainer set in the backdrop of Naxalism. Produced by Chiranjeevi’s son and fellow actor Ram Charan, the movie will be directed by Koratla Siva. In the film, Chiranjeevi will be seen playing dual roles — one of a middle-aged man named Acharya and the other of a 30-year-old named Govind.

Adding to the hype is the film’s stellar cast which boasts of the who’s who of the film industry. The film will star Bollywood actor Sonu Sood and Trisha, who was poised to make a comeback in Tollywood with this film.

However, citing creative differences, the actress has decided to opt-out of the project. The filmmakers are in talks with Anushka Shetty and Kajal Aggarwal to fill in for Trisha.

Kajal Aggarwal has however demanded a huge fee for playing the role. Filmmakers are now considering Anushka Shetty for the role.

Even Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu has been roped in to play the role of a student leader in the film. However, it looks like Chiru’s son and the film’s producer Ram Charan will be essaying the role instead, although an official confirmation is still awaited in this regard.

More recently, a few more big names, rumored to be joining the film’s cast have been cropping up.
