Kokapet gets new traffic diversions from October 14th

Hyderabad: Kokapet Rotary that is brimming with residential and commercial establishments get a new and permanent traffic diversion. The restrictions come into force on October 14th 2019.

Acting upon the increasing traffic congestions witnessed day-in and day-out, the cyberabad traffic authorities analysing the volumne have imposed new traffic diversions.

In an official statement released, Commissioner of Police – Cyberabad V. C Sajjanar said , “ In the view of the huge growth in residential and commercial establishments, volume of traffic is very high on Kokapet Rotary and on the ORR service road between Kokatpet rotary and the Vehicular under pass near vertex panache”.

He further adds, “ This is leading to severe traffic congestion daily , following this , a permanent traffic diversion will be implemented for the safety of the commuters , pedestrains and for effective traffic management in the area.”

One Way Traffic Route :

Vehicles movement on the road from Kokapet ORR service road rotary (Financial district side ) and traffic coming from under pass (VUP) near Vertex Panache – Kokapet Rotary (GAR side) shall be uni-directional in the same direction.

Description of Routes :

1. The traffic coming from ISB, financial district side going to GAR building shall take left turn on to the ORR service road at Kokapet rotary – 1 move up to VUP – right turn – Vertex Panache – GAR building.

2. No Straight movement of traffic from ISB side toward GAR building via Kokapet underpass rotary will be allowed.

3. Traffic coming from Kollur side on ORR service road going towards Narsingi will no be allowed straight. It has to take left at Kokapet rotary and move on the ORR service road on Financial district side up to the VUP near the Vertex Panache.

The Cyberabad traffic officials have appealed to the commuters to co-operate with the traffic police citing public safety .
