Komatireddy’s remarks on Harish Rao

Hyderabad: Congress MP Mr Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has made sensational comments about TRS MLA and former minister Mr T Harish Rao. Extending solidarity to Harish Rao, Mr Reddy said, "TRS chief Mr K Chandrashekhar Rao used Harish Rao's services during the Telangana movement and later in developing Kaleshwaram project."

“However, KCR kept his nephew Harish Rao on the back burner and totally ignored him after the Assembly elections for the second term for Telangana state. Harish Rao is a good leader and worked hard for the development of his constituency and the Kaleshwaram project,” remarked Mr Reddy.

Shifting focus to Mission Bhagiratha, Mr Reddy said that this project is a useless one as people of Telangana haven’t seen any benefit so far.

“Moreover, Mission Bhagiratha spoiled roads in the state. We received approval for ITIR project during Congress regime when I was IT minister. Now, the TRS government has ignored this central government’s project. Had ITIR developed, it would have created 20 lakh jobs for the educated youth in Telangana. The TRS government is avoiding this project because it would enhance the goodwill of Congress. KCR and KTR are not lobbying with the Centre for getting ITIR project,” said Mr Reddy.

KCR never visited SLBC tunnel. If the TRS government completes this work, the Flouride-hit areas in Nalgonda district will get drinking water facility. Why the TRS government is ignoring this is a serious problem.

Questions are aimed at Mr K Chandrashekhar Rao on why he’s showing so much love to the Kaleshwaram project and spent thousands of crores of rupees on this. And coming to projects in Nalgonda, the TRS government didn’t spend 10 per cent of the Kaleshwaram project. The TRS government’s interest is only in kickbacks. This is the suggestion as to why KCR is ignoring the pending projects taken up by the then Congress government.
