Kothagudem SP wife delivers baby in state hospital

Hyderabad: Bhadradri-Kothagudem Superintendent of Police wife delivered a baby in the district hospital on July 27.

Speaking to NewsMeter, SP Sunil Dutt said that his wife and the baby were healthy and discharged from the hospital on Tuesday.

On being asked why the family preferred to have the delivery at a government hospital, he said, "Government facilities are as good as in any other hospital, and people should have trust in the healthcare services being provided."

He added that government hospitals are good at handling any kind of ailments. "The government has been trying its best to guarantee best healthcare to citizens, even when it comes to the pandemic," he added.
