Madhapur police trace Rs 8L worth medicines within 10 hours, earn praise

Hyderabad: Madhapur Traffic police on Tuesday helped Aurore Life Sciences in tracing medicines worth Rs 8 lakhs.

Medicines had accidentally fallen off the moving bike on Monday. Within 10 hours the Madhapur cops traced medicines with the help of CCTV footage.

According to Madhapur Inspector, Aurore Life Science employee was on his way to deliver the medicines when the box fell off near Madhapur area. An auto driver noticed it and tried to enquire about it from the people nearby.

"After we received a complaint from the concerned company, our constable Venkat from the crime team traced the box with the help of CCTV footage. Venkat checked the CCTV footage of the exact location where the box fell off. We traced the auto number and tried contacting the driver to find the exact location where he left the box. As soon as we traced the box, we called the company representative and handed it over to him," Madhapur Inspector Ravindra Prasad told Newsmeter.

Madhapur Inspector took it to twitter and appreciated his team. " ⁦@psmadhapur_cyb⁩ traced medicine worth Rs 8 lakhs belongs to #Aurorelifesciences accidentally fell off the bike. With help of CCTV footage, the crime team traced medicine within 10 hours and handed over to the company. ⁦⁦⁦⁦⁦⁦⁦⁦@cyberabadpolice⁩," he tweeted.



The tweet went viral and citizens were all praises for the Madhapur Police Station Officials. Many appreciated the prompt action by the police officials.

I can walk into a police station without any fear & gone were the days when we were scared of entering into police station. @hydcitypolice @CPHydCity,” tweeted a netizen.
