Hyderabad: There has been a lot of buzz around megastar Chiranjeevi's next film. Being the actor's 152nd film, it is being called Chiru 152. The film is said to be an action entertainer, set in the backdrop of Naxalism. It will be directed by ace filmmaker, Koratla Siva and is being produced by Chiranjeevi's son and actor, Ram Charan. In the film, Chiranjeevi will be seen playing dual roles, one of a middle aged man named, Acharya and the other of a 30 year old named, Govind.
The film has already gathered a lot of big names from across the industry. While the duo of Chiranjeevi and Koratla Siva itself was a huge announcement, the film will also star biggies such as Trisha and Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, who was added to the cast recently. The actor was quoted as saying that he is proud to be a part of the film. Mani Sharma will be composing the film's music. The list has recently gotten another huge addition - none other than the prince of Tollywood, Mahesh Babu.
Mahesh Babu is said to have signed on for the film due to his close association with both Koratla Siva and Ram Charan. The inclusion of Mahesh Babu is however coming with a hefty price tag for Chiru 152's production. The actor has reportedly charged Rs. 1 crore per day and has given a 30 day schedule to complete his portion of the shoot.
