Makers of ‘RRR’ caution on casting calls

Hyderabad: The makers of 'RRR' issued a clarification about the casting of the film. While the film has already completed casting, the ‘RRR’ team found that online fraudsters are trying to cash in on the craze of the film by masquerading as casting managers and cheating wannabe actors in the name of casting.

D.V.V Danayya's production house got to know of the issue and through its official Twitter account cautioned people about receiving fake casting calls.

DVV Entertainment in a tweet on Sunday said, "It has come to our notice that certain miscreants are impersonating director S.S. Rajamouli on Facebook, Instagram and other Social Media accounts and luring unsuspecting people by posting fake casting calls for our ongoing project #RRR. We want to caution everyone to be wary of such fraudulent casting calls. Communication on any aspect regarding our projects will come directly from our official SM channel (sic)."

Currently, Rajamouli and actor Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao are in Bulgaria, where the latter is undergoing training for some action sequences. The next shooting of the film will take place in Hyderabad. Alia Bhatt is one of the heroines. Music is by M.M. Keeravani. The film will release on July 30, 2020.
