Man shoots neighbour with AK-47 over boundary wall dispute in Siddipet

Hyderabad: A man shot his neighbour on 7 February over a dispute over a boundary wall located between their houses at Akkannapet village of Siddipet district. Devuni Sadiah, who possessed the illegal weapon, fled his home after the incident. The neighbour, Gangaraju, escaped unhurt.

The Akkanpent police rushed to the spot after some people who witnessed the incident informed them. The police found bullet shells from an AK-47 rifle at the spot and confirmed that shots were fired.

The police took Sadiah's family into custody to inquire about the man's whereabouts and to ask if they knew how he got hold of an AK-47. Meanwhile, the police also searched his house and found a belt used to carry weapons, some sharp weapons, and a few smartphones. A case has been registered and a hunt is on to arrest Sadiah.
