Warangal Medical student found dead in the well with hands and legs tied

Warangal: A 22-year-old medical student Thummanapalli Vamshi was found dead inside an agriculture well in Kaniparthy of Regonda in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district on Saturday. The body was found with his hands and legs were tied with ropes. According to his parents Thirupathi and Rama, Vamshi, who is pursuing MBBS third year in a private medical college in Khammam came home for Sankranthi holidays.

Family said that the young medical student was travelling back to Khammam on Friday evening. They had no communication with them since then. The news broke when villagers discovered his dead body inside their agriculture well on Saturday morning. Following which the police were informed and the dead body was retrieved from the well. The villagers found it strange when his hands and legs were found tied.

Chityal inspector Sai Ramana and Regonda SI Krishna Prasad said a case has been registered and investigation is on. The CCTV footage in the village is being observed to find any clues.
