MIM MLAs seek better facilities in area hospitals of Old city, increased Covid testing

Hyderabad: Legislators of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) met health minister Eatala Rajender on Thursday to request him to implement improved policy in the battle against Covid-19.
AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi reported on his official Twitter handle that the MLAs demanded to increase the number of free Covid testing centres and conduct 1,000 tests at every centre, every day.
Party floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi requested for free antigen testing to be made available at the Basthi Dawakhanas of Kumarwadi, Tadlakunta and Millatnagar, in his constituency Chandrayanagutta.
Malakpet MLA Balala Ahmed requested the minister to have RT--PCR tests restarted in Malakpet Area Hospital, while also asking for increased testing in all area Basti Dawakhanas.

Karwan MLA Kausar Mohiuddin and Nampally MLA Jaffar Hussain requested for a rise in th number of tests and additional facilities in the area hospital at Golconda, Basthi Dawakhana Hakimpet Kuntha, Community Hall Ibrahim Bagh, Aghapura, Owaisi Community Hall, Pochamma Basti, and Shanti Nagar, among other areas.
The MLAs of Yakutpura, Charminar and Bahadurpura, MLAs Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri, Mumtaz Ahmed Khan and Moazam Khan also submitted lists of the areas where they require additional facilities to be provided by the health department, such as Basti Dawakhana Aman Nagar, Roushan Dil Community Hall Rein Bazar, Noor Khan, Chellapura Bazaar, Mochi Colony and Teegalkunta among others.
