Mother, daughter murdered in East Godavari 

East Godavari: A 45-year-old woman and her 18-year-old daughter were found murdered at their residence at Savaram Dandu Gangamma Street in Ramachandrapuram of East Godavari district on Sunday morning. The deceased were identified as Bulusu Madhavi and her daughter Bulusu Karuna. The mother and daughter were found in a pool of blood with their heads smashed and slits opened.

The house was ransacked and some papers were lying in the house. Jewellery and some money were found to be missing, the police said. The police are suspecting that someone known to their family or one of their relatives might have committed the double murder. The police pressed the dog squad and clues team into service to get some clues in the case and have formed a special team to nab the culprits. The bodies were shifted to a government hospital for autopsy and a case has been registered.
