‘MS Dhoni’ actor Sushant Singh Rajput ends life, was under depression

Promising Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead, hanging in his Bandra home. There seems to be no suicide note found in the apartment, where he was found hanging on Sunday morning. The Chichore star had taken to Instagram a week ago to share a deeply felt poem about his late mother who he had lost at a tender age of 16, along with a collage.

It read,"Blurred past evaporating from teardrops Unending dreams carving an arc of smile And a fleeting life, negotiating between the two... #माँ ❤️".

In fact, a week ago, on June 8, Sushant expressed shock over his manager Disha Salian's suicide. He expressed his condolences too to her family.

He had rose to fame from a TV actor to a celebrated Bollywood treasure with movies like ,"Chhichhore", "MS Dhoni: The Untold Story" and the list goes on.

This appalling news has come as a blow to the industry and his fans, especially after losing Irfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor and Wajid Khan, not so long ago.

Sources claim that the actor has been suffering from depression for the last six months, although this news is yet to be confirmed.

Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor conveyed his condolences on Twitter, "If you are feeling distressed, or having thoughts about ending your life please, please reach out for support. This does not have to be the end #SSR https://t.co/hWnsA6Q3Cc"

Other bereaved and shocked stars have taken to Twitter to express their shock and dismay.

Akshay Kumar, reminisces Chhichhore and shares his disbelief, "Honestly this news has left me shocked and speechless...I remember watching #SushantSinghRajput in Chhichhore and telling my friend Sajid, its producer how much I’d enjoyed the film and wish I’d been a part of it. Such a talented actor...may God give strength to his family 🙏🏻"

When Sushant's house help heard no response after knocking at his door, he tried to reach his friends, who were also present whilst discovering the body. His door was broken open, only to find him hanging to death. The police have discovered a file with a treatment plan that Sushant was going through to battle depression.

His fans are in shock. They say this huge loss is definitely going to be a very tough one to move past, although, may his soul rest in peace.
