Hyderabad: The gut-wrenching murder of veterinarian Disha (name changed) near Shadnagar close to Hyderabad-Bengaluru National Highway on Wednesday night has shaken the entire nation. The four accused in the case raped and killed the 26-year-old and dumped her charred body beneath a culvert near the NH.

Mourning the veterinarian’s death, Nampally Criminal Court, under the guidance of the Nampally Bar Association, held a silent protest outside the court on Friday. “Such incidents are regrettable. The culprits who’ve let down society must be rigorously punished and demanded that the police must take care that such incidents never happen again,” said a statement by the association.
