NEET candidate misses exam after wrong exam center printed on hall ticket

Hyderabad: A NEET aspirant filed a complaint on 13 September against officials concerned claiming that she had failed to appear for the exam because the exam centre mentioned on her hall ticket did not exist.
Nikhat Fathima from Hyderabad was set to appear for the National Entrance-cum-Eligibility Test 2020 (NEET) on Sunday. Her exam centre, according to her hall ticket, was AVV College in Hanamkonda, Warangal.
On Sunday morning, she along with her parents reached Warangal and arrived at the college to inquire about the arrangements. However, she was shocked to learn that there was no NEET center at the said college.
Later, she lodged a complaint with the Subedari police in Hanamkonda, alleging that she had lost her chance to appear for the exam due to the negligence of the officials concerned. She asked them to register a case against them for the same. The police told her they would take action accordingly.
