Commuters need not stand in queues to purchase tickets or recharge e-cards for traveling on Hyderabad Metro, which has now introduced QR code ticketing through an app developed by L&T. Passengers can download the Hyderabad Metro app from the Playstore and book tickets by scanning the QR code on the Automatic Fare Collection machines at the entry and exit points of stations.

Nine Killed in a fire which broke out at Delhi’s Kirari

A massive fire broke out at a three-story building in outer Delhi’s Kirari area. The fire killed nine include a six-month-old infant. Earlier this year 43 people died in a fire in a four-storey building at Delhi’s congested Anaj Mandi area.
