Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. A decision to this effect was taken at a high-level meeting held at Pragathi Bhavan here on Monday.

The students would be promoted basing on the marks obtained in the internal assessment and the relating grades would be awarded to the students.

There are 5,34,903 Class X students in the state, who have to appear for 11 papers relating to six subjects to clear the examination. Of these, the students wrote 3 papers of two subjects and the remaining papers were postponed following the High Court directives.

The high-level meeting was held this morning to decide on the conducting the remaining exams. The officials observed the decisions taken by other states with regard to Class X exams and finally took a decision to promote the students.

The Telangana government will decide about holding the Degree and PG exams basing on the intensity of the spread of Covid-19.
