One nation, one ration will be implemented across India" PM Modi

The scheme is envisaged to help the poor migrant labor to get free ration without shifting states in search of employment. Also, the Pradhan Mantri Gareeb Kalyan Ann Yojana scheme will be extended for the next five months till November 2020, he said.
"Every house will get 5 Kg wheat or rice in addition 1 kg of channa (gram) free of cost to each family member. By this scheme, 80 crore citizens will be benefited. The cost of this scheme will cost over 90000 crore rupees. Around 31 thousand crore rupees has been dispatched to 20 crore family via their bank accounts through Pradhan Mantri Dhan Jan Yojna. Also, 18000 crores are deposited in bank accounts of 9 crore farmers' he said. The PM asserted that the government has assured 1.45 lakh crore rupees in Pradhan Mantri Gareeb Kalyan Yojna.
PM also pointed out that because of the COVID-19 apart from the agriculture sector every other sector is slowed down. The monsoon will be going to help more to the agriculture sector.
The timely lockdown has helped in stopping the spread of COVID-19. He thanked state government and NGOs for their cooperation in feeding the poor people. Negligence in social and personal behavior during unlocking down 1 is a cause for concern. He requested the people to maintain all the precautions and slowly increase economic activities. He also asserted that no one is above law and even the prime minister himself has to follow it along with the citizens
