Srinagar: Is the Kashmir solution has begun as tweeted by Bollywood actor Anupam Kher? Is scrapping of article 35A that prohibits outsiders to own property in J&K, get a government job, run a business or settle down in that state to be taken up by the center today?



As part of the Operation, Kashmir center is all set to take a major decision on Kashmir on Monday sources said. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has convened a cabinet meeting on Monday where it is expected that a key decision will be taken on Kashmir. Speculations are on rife that J&K will be trifurcated into three States.

District magistrate of Jammu Sushma Chauhan has issued an order imposing 144 CRPC given prevailing situation in the state and to prevent a breach of peace and tranquillity.
The magistrate said in the order, "144 CRPC will come into effect from 6.00 am on Monday. There shall be no assembly of four or more persons, any pre-planned congregation shall be conducted only with the prior approval of district magistrate. As a measure of caution, it is advised to keep the schools and colleges both government and private and other academic institutions shall be closed. Examinations are also postponed.

Internet services have been suspended in Jammu province. Paramilitary forces and Rapid Action Forces were deployed in large numbers. Pilgrims and tourists have already evacuated the Himalayan State. Home Minister Amit Shah is likely to visit Jammu and Kashmir. A high-level meet was held on Sunday in which National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Home Secretary Rajeev Guaba, Intelligence Bureau chief Arvind Kumar and RAW chief Samant Kumar Goel were also present.
Former CM Omar Abdullah tweeted "I believe I’m being placed under house arrest from midnight tonight & the process has already started for other mainstream leaders. No way of knowing if this is true but if it is then I’ll see all of you on the other side of whatever is in store,"
He further said, "While I’ve been focused on Kashmir I must add a word for people in Kargil, Ladakh & Jammu. I’ve no idea what is in store for our state but it doesn’t look good. I know many of you will be upset by what unfolds. Please don’t take the law into your own hands, please stay calm,"

Omar said he is concerned about�people living in the Pir Panchal & Chenab Valley regions as they are very susceptible to attempts at communal violence.
National Conference on Sunday announced that the party will go the extra mile to defend�Article 370 and Article 35-A of the Constitution.
Another former CM Mehbooba Mufti tweeted " Hearing reports about the internet being snapped soon including cellular coverage. Curfew passes being issued too,"
She asked the government to reveal the health status of separatist leader Yasin Mallick. Yasin's lawyer said his health condition is ok. Interestingly Anti-Corruption Bureau on August 3 served notice to Mehbooba regarding the alleged irregularities that took place in appointments while she was CM.

In Ladakh region after summer vacation schools reopened normally and there are no restrictions in this region.
Congress leader and actress Nagma said, "Jammu & Kashmir is an integral part of India, the people of Kashmir are our brothers and sisters. No government has ever treated them like this. The elected representatives, Pro Indian leaders. 2 Ex CM's are under house arrest. This is emergency and Shame on the BJP Government,"




Meanwhile, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan convened a National Security meeting to take stock of the situation.
Indian Army has already asked Pak Military to take the bodies of intruders found near LOC while they are trying to infiltrate.�
