Hyderabad: Former Deputy Speaker and TRS MLA Padma Devender Reddy has ruled out social media reports speculating that she was not allowed to enter Pragati Bhavan. Unconfirmed reports are going viral on social media that the Police didn’t allow Ms Padma Devender Reddy to enter Pragathi Bhavan. The Medak MLA arrived at Pragati Bhavan to attend the farewell ceremony for Governor ESL Narasimhan on Saturday morning.

Speaking to the News Meter, Ms Padma Devender Reddy said: “The meeting is scheduled for MLAs at 3:30 pm. I condemn all such baseless reports spreading on social media.”

According to the social media reports, the Police allowed Talasani Saikiran, who lost to BJP candidate Kishan Reddy in Secunderbad Lok Sabha elections. Interestingly, Saikiran, son of TRS minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, was given VIP treatment. The bitter experience of Ms Padma Devender Reddy is raising many eyebrows. Moreover, Saikiran came in a car with tinted glass, which has been prohibited by the Telangana Police.

Ms Padma Devender Reddy is the only woman MLA to get elected three times. Ms Padma Devender Reddy is believed to be in Mr Harish Rao’s group. Telangana chief minister is reportedly keeping former irrigation minister Harish Rao aside for some time and not accommodated him in the State Cabinet.
