Pawan Kalyan to attend Sandeep-starrer George Reddy’s pre-release event

Hyderabad: It was earlier reported that the life story of Osmania University’s rebel hero George Reddy is being made into a movie, eponymously titled. Actor Sandeep who appeared in a significant role in Ram Gopal Varma’s Vangaveeti will portray George Reddy in the biopic. The makers have planned to arrange a pre-release event as the movie is nearing its release.

There is a piece of exciting news movie lovers regarding the pre-release event. The makers of George Reddy have invited actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan as a chief guest for the event, which will happen on November 17. Details regarding the venue aren’t out yet.

It has been reported that Pawan Kalyan was approached to appear as the guest for the movie’s release, to which he gave the nod. It is important to note that Pawan carries similar ideologies with George Reddy when it comes to social discrimination and inequality. The Jana Sena Party chief had stated his opinions on such issues many times in the past.

The biopic will adapt the story of George Reddy, a rebel hero who fought against social discrimination as a student leader at Osmania University. The teaser and posters from the movie have already amassed massive buzz within various moviegoers. As the film is readying for its release on November 22, the buzz around it has doubled.

Being a Jeevan Reddy directorial, George Reddy will portray the real-life incidents of the iconic student leader, who was brutally murdered for standing up against widespread discrimination. Termed as the Che Guevara of Osmania University, George Reddy was killed in the premises of the university on April 14, 1972.

Suresh Bobbili will compose the tunes for George Reddy’s biopic, while Arijit Datta will add his touch to the film’s background score. National Award-winner Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti will handle the cinematography of the movie.
