Photographer beaten up, arrested for sexually assaulting teen in Hyderabad

According to the police, Saleem runs the RS Digital Photo Studio at Sainikpuri in Neredmet. On Monday night, the victim came to his studio to take some passport photographs. As she was alone and there were no other customers in the studio, he took advantage of it and forced himself on her and sexually abused her.

The victim, however, escaped from him and ran out of the studio raising an alarm. Passersby noticed her and came to her rescue. When they came to know of the incident they caught Saleem who was trying to escape and beat him up before alerting the police.

The police rushed to the spot where they found him badly injured. They rushed Saleem to the hospital. The victim was also taken to a hospital where her family joined her. A case has been registered against Saleem. Further investigation is underway, said the police.
