PM Modi thanks Tollywood stars for spreading awareness on Covid-19 through music video

Hyderabad: As the Coronavirus outbreak is getting the better of people with each passing day, the need to spread awareness has become the need of hour besides treatment. With over 50,000 deaths globally, the spread of Coronavirus has been rapid and the only way as told many times is social distancing and staying at home in order to stay safe.

With a similar aim to spread awareness among people, a mixture of both veteran and current star actors from the Telugu Film Industry came up with a awareness music video on Coronavirus. The video features Megastar Chiranjeevi, Yuva Samrat Nagarjuna, Sai Dharam Tej and Varun Tej. All the four actors were accompanied by Music Director Koti as he was seen lending his voice to the actors will a guitar in hand.

The main message that was conveyed through the video was to 'fight the virus'. The actors also were seen giving out the preventive measures in the form of a song as preventive measures like washing hands, keeping them clean with sanitizers, greeting people with a Namaste instead of shaking hand and consulting the doctor if any symptoms of Coronavirus are seen. The actors also singing people to stay home and stay safe inorder to fight the virus. They recorded the video from their respective homes.

Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi also took to Twitter to thank the actors on their effort to spread awareness in a lighter and entertaining manner. He thanked the actors in Telugu, which surprised a lot of people as he wrote, " Chiranjeevi gariki, Nagarjuna gariki, Sai Dharam Tej ki, Varun Tej ki, meerandaru icchina atichakkani sandesaniki na dhanyavaadaalu. Andaram Mana illallone undam, samaajika dooranni paatiddam. Coronavirus payi vijayam saadhiddam. "
