Hyderabad: As Pakistan tries to internationalise the abrogation of Article 370 of Jammu and Kashmir, India seems to push its neighbouring country into defence by targeting Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). The Central government bigwigs seem to be giving Pakistan sleepless nights by constantly speaking about PoK.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi cleared India’s stand on Jammu and Kashmir while participating as a special invitee in the G7 summit. Modi said, "Kashmir is an integral part of India." Adding that India was ready to discuss all bilateral issues with Pakistan. Modi forced US President Donald Trump to announce that Kashmir was an issue between the two neighbouring countries and that it should be sorted out bilaterally. This was a U-turn on the part of the US especially as it was trying to meditate on the Kashmir Issue.

After Modi’s remarks at the G7, frustrated Pakistan Federal minister for railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Wednesday announced that a full-blown war will occur in October or November between India and Pakistan and that the imminent war with India ''will be the last."

Meanwhile, in India Vice President Venkaiah Naidu while attending the golden jubilee celebration of NSTL in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday said, "Getting PoK back is what only remains. Talks can be held with Pakistan on PoK only, as Kashmir is now a closed chapter." His comment attracted global attention.

Defence minister Rajnath Singh who is in Leh on an official tour on Thursday told media that PoK is part and parcel of India. It is interesting to know that when Pakistan is trying to cry foul on the Kashmir issue, India rakes up PoK.
