Polluting crushers case: Telanagana HC to hear all parties before passing order

Hyderabad: Telangana High Court on Tuesday made it clear that it would not pass any order without hearing all the parties concerned in a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking immediate removal of polluting heavy crushers and vehicles at Vattinagulapally in Gandipet Mandal of Ranga Reddy district.

The PIL was filed by M Gopal Reddy who claimed that the polluting heavy crushers and vehicles are playing havoc with the lives of local people.

A division bench of High Court directed him to implead managements of industries which are deploying heavy crusher machines and cement ready mix concrete vehicles in and around Vattinagulapally in Gandipet Mandal.

The court said that they would like to hear all the parties before passing any orders.

In his petition, Reddy, who is a businessman from Vattinagulapally area, said neither the district collector of Ranga Reddy nor the Tehsildar of Gandipet Mandal took any action against erring managements of the crusher units despite the fact that they were violating GO MS No.111. The court later adjourned the case for two weeks for further hearing.
