Hyderabad: Throwing his weight behind Bigg Boss 3 winner Rahul Sipligunj, who was allegedly attacked by TRS MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy’s brother Riteesh Reddy and his friends, famous actor Prakash Raj met Government Chief Whip Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar and demanded action against the attackers

“They may be thinking that there is no one behind Rahul. We are with him and there are so many fans behind him. I don't say going to a pub is wrong. What is the justification for the attack? Did they want to kill him? That arrogance is condemnable. How can ten people attack one person?” he asked.

Raj said Rahul is not thinking of entering into any sort of compromise with the attackers. “I will meet the police commissioner and urge him to take the case seriously. I am here only to give him moral support. There may be personal differences between anyone, but such violent acts are not acceptable,” he said.

Rahul was attacked during a drunken brawl at Prism Pub in Gachibowli, following which a case was registered by the police. Two special teams have been formed, but there is not much progress in the investigation.

Meanwhile, Rahul took up the issue with Minister KT Rama Rao on twitter, seeking his help in the investigation. But he did not receive any response from the minister on twitter so far.
