Prisoner with police escort attends AP Grama Sachivalayam exams

Srikakulam: A prisoner lodged in district jail at Ampolu near Srikakulam city attended for Grama Sachivalayam (Village secretariat) recruitment examination on Sunday. The candidate, S Siva Kumar, is a native of Chapara village in Meliaputti Mandal. He wrote the exam at Palasa government high school centre. Siva was arrested earlier in a cheating case and has been lodged in district jail for the last 45 days.

Siva applied for the recruitment exam from jail. On Sunday he came to the examination centre with police escort. As the remand prisoner with guard came to write the examination, several candidates and staff were curious to find out about him.

Siva Kumar returned to prison after writing the exam.
