PVP vs Bandla Ganesh: Tollywood producers fight over dues

Hyderabad: Tollywood producer Prasad V. Potluri (PVP) has filed a complaint against another producer Bandla Ganesh. PVP has alleged Bandla Ganesh of cheating and criminal intimidation. He said that Mr Bandla Ganesh had not paid him the money due from a previous movie. PVP alleged that they financed the film 'Temper' produced by Ganesh and had Jr NTR play the lead role. However, even after the release of the movie, Bandla Ganesh has not cleared the dues, and this has allegedly led to fighting between PVP Vs Bandla Ganesh.

Meanwhile, PVP vs Bandla Ganesh fight took a twist with Bandla Ganesh also alleging that PVP and his associates threatened to kidnap him. Ganesh claimed he is facing a threat to his life Banjara Hills police have launched a probe into both the complaints.

Temper movie focal point of fight

PVP claimed that for the movie 'Temper' released in 2013, they financed an amount of Rs 30 crore. As per the agreement, the amount was supposed to be returned immediately after the movie's release. But Bandla Ganesh cleared Rs 23 crore in installments and is delaying the payment of the balance Rs 7 crore.

PVP met Bandla Ganesh on Friday at a hotel and asked him to clear the dues. However, PVP alleged that Bandla Ganesh warned him that he would not repay the money and challenged to do anything. PVP said, "Ganesh said that he is close to the home minister, and nobody can do anything to him."

PVP also said that later at night, four unidentified persons were found moving under suspicious conditions outside his house. On inquiring they threatened him of dire consequences if he didn't settle the issue with Bandla Ganesh.

Meanwhile, Bandla Ganesh lodged complaint stating though he has cleared all the dues, PVP is harassing him to pay more in the form of interest. "I have all transactions on record and have submitted them to the police. I hope the police will investigate thoroughly and do justice," said Bandla Ganesh
