Quarantine for Intel travelers cut short to 7 days, fee to be refunded

The protocol for institutional quarantine has been revised to seven days followed by seven days of home quarantine after medical assessment. Earlier the ministry had announced 14 days mandatory quarantine.
The Ministry, on May 27th, noted that Indian nationals, who have been quarantined in hotels and have already paid the advance for 14 days, will be refunded.
The Ministry has asked the Chief Secretaries of respective states to coordinate with the hotels earmarked for institutional quarantine and ensure that the amount is refunded to the citizens without any delay.
