Hyderabad: The Rachkonda police, on 31 July, arrested two persons at Thukkuguda in Pahadishareef who had committed 15 burglaries since December 2019. The third accused is absconding.

The police said that one of the accused, Shaik Riyaz Pasha, had been involved in several criminal activities in Rachakonda, Cyberabad, Hyderabad City, and Medak districts since 2014. In 2019, he was lodged in Cherlapally jail where he befriended Gamsari Nazari.

Nazari is a resident of Pansheli Baigav in Assam’s Udalgari district. He had run away from home and come to Hyderabad where he had started committing burglaries and thefts in Sangareddy. While in jail, he had formed a gang and had robbed four houses in Medak once released. In 2018, he had been imprisoned again for property-related offences under Rachakonda, Cyberabad, Hyderabad, and Mahabubnagar limits.
