Ragpicker died in an explosion in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A ragpicker lost his life in an explosion took place on the main road of Shivarampally at Rajendranagar in Cyberabad commissionerate limits on Sunday.

In the blast, the ragpicker, who was identified as Mohammad Ali aged 40 years, lost his two arms on the spot and was succumbed later on while undergoing treatment at the Osmania General hospital, according to the police.

Sources said that Ali was sat on a footpath beside a truck and was checking his rag picking bag and during the process, there was an explosion at around 10 am, in which he lost his arms.

Following the incident, the terrified locals have called the police and alerted immediately, though he was rushed to the hospital, he died while undergoing treatment at around 12:30 and the body has been shifted to OGH mortuary, said the police officials from Rajendranagar Police Station.

However the causes of the incident is not known yet and is still being investigated by the police.
