Hyderabad: A fake exam schedule notification with striking similarities to Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) notification is going viral on social media. RRB has not issued any official statement regarding the RRB NTPC Exam Date 2019.Several fake notifications are being circulated on social media regarding the RRB exam schedule. Candidates are advised not to fall prey to such fake updates.

According to the fake notification available on social media, the exam city and date will be available on March 13, 2020, and candidates can download the admit card from March 24.

However, the last official notice from RRB was on October 14, 2019. According to this notice, the board had postponed the dates of first stage CBT exam which was to be conducted between June and September 2019. The notice further said, the revised schedule will be published on the official websites of all RRBs on a later date.

While the reason for the delay in finalisation of the RRB NTPC and RRC Group D exams remains unclear, more than 2.4 crore candidates have applied for over 1.35 lakh posts in Railways RRC Group D and RRB NTPC. RRB NTPC 2019 recruitment drive is expected to fill up 35,277 jobs in Indian Railways.
