Hyderabad: Remakes have become a pretty common phenomenon in Tollywood recently. It looks like the remake of another Bollywood film is on the cards now. According to the latest reports, blockbuster-hit Dream Girl, which released on September 13, is going to be remade in Telugu. Ekta Kapoor produced the Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer, and now, producers from various languages are in talks for the remake rights. It is said that producer Suresh Babu has bagged it for Tollywood.

Sourced note that Raj Tarun has been roped in to play the lead role in the film, while other cast and crew have to be decided. Raj, whose Rangula Ratnam and Lover have been box office disaster, is long due for a hit.

Aneesh Krishna of Ala Ela fame will direct this project, and a few changes will be made to the script to suit Telugu nativity. Raj Tarun and Aneesh have previously teamed up for Lover. The duo is going to plan things well this time for this yet-to-be-titled project.

Raj Tarun will kick off the remake once he wraps up Dil Raju’s Iddari Lokam Okate. It is said that the actor will take this project to the next level, keeping in mind the box office collections of the original.
