Rajasthan University refutes BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri was enrolled as student

Hyderabad: A letter addressed by Janardhan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), has revealed that Nizamabad BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri's is not a pass out student of 2018 , MA Political Science course.

This has come much against the BJP MP's election affidavit in which Arvind Dharmapuri mentioned that he holds a masters degree in Arts in Political Science from Janardhan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth under distance education mode. The letter has raised questions against the MP for submitting an alleged fake degree to the Election Commission of India.

The Directorate of Distance Education of Janardhan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University, in response to TRS Member Krishank Manne's query, stated, 'With reference to the above subject this is to inform you that as per as per the University records s/o of Dharmapuri Srinivas- Arvind Dharmapuri is not a passed out student in 2018 in Master of Arts, Political Science under distance education mode. He is not enrolled under distance education course in Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed to Be University)".

Much in contrary against the affidavit submitted by Mr Dharmapuri during General Elections 2019, where he mentioned that his Highest Education Qualification is MA Political Science which he pursued from Janardhan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) in the year 2018. When tried reaching MP, he was unable for a quote. His version is awaited.

Meanwhile, On Wednesday TRS Member Krishank Manne took it to twitter and tweeted the RTI reply, "

BJP MP Arvind, Hon'ble CM has asked to refrain from politics during COVID but ur foul language on KCR sir compels to expose your Fraud. This RTI reply by Institution explain MA Pol Sci claimed in your election affidavit is FAKE. You have no ethical right to speak & continue in Politics.

Notably, the Rajasthan University in entangled with certain alleged fraud. While speaking to Newsmeter Krishank Manne said, "I personally visited the University in Rajasthan and enquired about his education. The Directorate of distance education, on records mentioned that the BJP MP is not their student. Also, when there are so many reputed universities in Telangana state, why does he go to Rajasthan to pursue his master's. What we have got to know that the university itself is fake. There's a CBI case against that university. They also do not have permission for Distance Education. So he went to a dubious institute so that he could acquire a fake degree".

When tried reaching Mr Arvind Dharmapuri's he was not available to comment on the same.
