Rajinikanth 2.0 makes $1mn collection on 1st day in China

Hyderabad: After breaking all the box-office records in India, Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar-starrer 2.0 has created yet another milestone. Released in about 48,000 screens in the dragon country, the movie has managed to cross the $1 million mark on the first day. The pre-sales of 2.0 opened to positive responses from the Chinese audience.
The 2.0 makers were trying to get the movie released in China for the last few months, but recently they managed to get the approvals for the release.
The Shankar-directed 2.0 is a sci-fi thriller flick. Apart from Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in the lead roles, Amy Jackson played another important role. Made at a mega budget of Rs 543 crore, it was released in over 48,000 in 3D version. Lyca Productions produced the movie, which is considered to be the highest budget movie in India.
The 2.0 movie talks about the harmful effect of radiation emanating from the cell phone towers. It narrated how birds and animals are suffering from such radiation. The terrific VFX used in the movie is a great attraction for the audience.
