Rajkummar Rao to collaborate with Priyanka Chopra for The White Tiger

Hyderabad: Actress Priyanka Chopra has all but moved to the US after her marriage to singer-actor Nick Jonas. While her fans are awaiting the release of Sky Is Pink, the actress teams up with Rajkummar Rao for a project.

Rao and Priyanka are collaborating for the first time with The White Tiger, joining hands with Iranian filmmaker Ramin Bahrani for this film. The film is based on Aravind Adiga’s Man Booker Prize-winning novel of the same name. Unlike regular commercial films, The White Tiger is going to be released on Netflix.

More than anyone else, Rajkummar Rao is more excited to be part of this film. His excitement is clearly shown in his face in the selfie he shared on Twitter with Priyanka Chopra. He wrote, “Can’t wait to start #TheWhiteTiger with these supremely talented people. @priyankachopra #RaminBahrani #AdarshGourav #MukulDeora @netflix @NetflixIndia (sic).”

Recently, Priyanka took to her Instagram account to share that she is looking forward to both Sky Is Pink and The White Tiger. She wrote, “So looking forward to these two projects. Working with both @rodriguez and #RaminBahrani is like night and day, and that’s so exciting for me. Between #TheSkyIsPink releasing at @tiff_net next week, filming #WeCanBeHeroes and bringing one of my favourite books to life, #WhiteTiger, as both an actor and EP, looks like it will be an awesome end to the year. @netflix (sic).”

Currently, Priyanka is in India for the promotions of Sky Is Pink, and after that, she will start shooting for The White Tiger. Let’s wish good luck to this team that is looking forward to making another beautiful film in the coming year.
