Hyderabad: Ram Gopal Varma’s dream-project ‘Beautiful — An ode to Rangeela’s trailer received a lukewarm response as it only fetched 478k (478,000) views on YouTube.

The trailer released on October 9 left a lot of RGV fans excited as it was an “Ode to Rangeela”. The movie is written, photographed and directed by Agastya Manju and features Parth Suri and Naina Ganguly in the lead roles.

RGV took to Twitter to share the trailer to all his die-hard fans. “Here’s the trailer of BEAUTIFUL a dream film of mine #OdetoRangeela featuring Parth Suri and Naina Ganguly. #BEAUTIFUL is written, photographed and directed by Agastya Manju @parthsuri2050. @NainaGtweets (sic).”

As shown in the trailer, the film is about a couple who are poor and madly in love. The twist in the tale comes in when the female lead becomes rich. The last shot closes with the words: “Money is not always beautiful”.

RGV further took to the social media to clear the air on what the movie is actually all about. He said, “Beautiful is about ‘Can a man take it, if his woman becomes more successful than him?’ It’s not about professional jealousy like Abhimaan and Aashiqui 2, but it’s about Male pride against a female’s success (sic).”

The hashtag “#BeautifulTrailer” was trending at No.5 in India on Twitter yesterday as it gained a lot of audiences’ attention.
