Rashmika part of Chay’s next?

Hyderabad: Naga Chaitanya Akkineni is teaming up with director Parasuram of Geetha Govindham fame. The latest buzz is that Coorgi beauty Rashmika Mandanna is going to be a part of the film. The movie is said to be a love story with a dollop of family drama.

This is the first time Rashmika will be starring opposite Chay. The audience may find it refreshing to see new pair onscreen. An official announcement from the team is awaited.

Rashmika Mandanna has already worked with director Parasuram in Geetha Govindham, which went on to become a big hit. In fact, it was a turning point in her career. We will have to see if the duo's magic works out a second time. The movie is being bankrolled by 14 Reels Plus Banner and will go on the floors as soon as Chay wraps up his shooting for Sekhar Kammula's Love Story. The movie’s pre-production work is on full swing.

Rashmika was last seen in Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevaru, which roared at the box office during Sankranthi this year. This Dear Comrade actress has been all over the film columns for the last two years. It is fair to say that she is shaping up to become the next reigning queen of Tollywood. She already has four movies in her kitty this year, one of which is a Kannada film, Pogaru.

Rashmika is also teaming up with director Sukumar, alongside Allu Arjun. Rumours are Vijay Sethupathi is also going to be a part of the film. Looks like Rashmika’s calendar for 2020 is full.
