Hyderabad: As the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrasekhar Rao called in for a 24-hour Janta Curfew on March 22nd in order to fight the Coronavirus, which has killed 6 people in the nation until now, the 34th ward councilor of Hyderabad’s Sangareddy, Mohammed Sami asked all the people to come out of their streets, roam on the roads and have fun as it is a Sunday. As the video of the councilor asking people to roam on roads went viral, Sangareddy town police registered a case against the councilor for provoking people against the Janta curfew under section 188 of IPC (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) on Sunday.
As the Chief Minister of Telangana said that the 24-hour Janta Curfew ( March 22 6am to March 23 6 am ) in Telangana is for our own good and to safeguard the country from the Coronavirus outbreak, the councilor on Saturday night gathered people and was heard saying, “Tomorrow, on 22nd March, Sunday, the Prime Minister has appealed all the Muslims especially to populate the mosques and pray that Coronavirs must go away from the country and to detach all the people that hate the Hindus, Muslims and Dalits. I would say, Modiji, No muslim, Sikh, Dalit and Christian shall listen to what you say until you remove the CAA, NRC and NPR. We will listen from one ear and let it go from another. And to all the people, I would say, roam as much as possible, Enjoy fully and pray for the nation. ”
In response to his own video, On Sunday Morning, The Councillor again made a selfie video in his defense and put the blame of the video released yesterday on the ‘opposition’. Making the video, he said, ” The video that I made yesterday had the words that go to the Masjids as much as possible, Recite Namaaz, and pray that the coronavirus ends soon. These were my exact words. My video was manipulated and was posted after trimming by the opposition. I had said that Pray to Allah, recite Namaaz and pray that coronvirus outbreak ends in the nation.
