School van driver molests student in Nellore

Nellore: A van driver of a private school in the city has allegedly molested a girl student on February 6. AFter the incident came into light, the local people manhandled him and later handed him over to the police.

According to sources, the accused Siva, who works as driver of Vidya Vihar School of 4th mile area, has been harassing the eighth standard student for some time. He misbehaved with the girl on Thursday in the school van on Thursday too and local people stopped the vehicle and attacked on him violently. The infuriated mobs set the vehicle to fire and handed over the driver to the police. Further, they staged a protest in front of the school demanding action against the driver and the police convinced them assuring stringent action against the accused.
