Senior RMO of Yashodha Hospitals Dr Hari Kumar dies of Covid-19

Hyderabad: Senior residential medical officer of Yashoda Hospital Dr Hari Kumar succumbed to Covid-19 on July 23. He was admitted to Yashoda Hospital 15 days ago.
"He was our senior RMO at the hospital. He had been a good friend of mine though he was 30 years older than me," said a doctor at Yashoda Hospital.
In June, a doctor in Narayanaguda was the first in the state to succumb to Covid-19. He was doing private practice in Khairtabad area and after that, a well-known physician from Seethphalmandi succumbed to Covid-19 on July 2.
On Thursday, two Osmania General Hospital doctors get re-infected with the virus. Cases of medical professionals testing positive for the disease are rising by the day. Around 300 doctors in the city got infected with the virus.
A head nurse from the Chest Hospital also succumbed to Covid-19 in the last week of June, just days before her retirement from service.
