Set up separate fever clinics at Out patient ward: T govt to Hospitals

Hyderabad: The Director of Medical Education on Saturday, 16 May instructed all teaching and speciality hospitals under the DME to restore all its services including elective surgical services immediately.

Meanwhile, the letter from DME to Superintendents of hospitals said it is advised to run separate fever clinics so that patients and staff will not have to intermingle with other out patients.

However, Gandhi and Government Chest Hospitals will continue to function as Nodal Covid-19 Centres and part of SD Eye hospital as isolation Centre as declared earlier.

Doctors and other hospital staff are advised to use PPE and N95 masks and other measures of safety. Also proper social distancing is advised to be followed in out patient department as well as the wards.
