Shadnagar toddler kidnapped at her doorstep

Hyderabad: Shadnagar Police nabbed the kidnapper within 4 hours after a complaint was lodged by her parents as she was lost while playing outside her house. An unidentified man allegedly kidnapped a toddler playing outside her home at Chatanpally of Shadnagar in the Hyderabad outskirts on Tuesday. The incident falls under the limits of Shadnagar police station of Cyberabad, where the charred body of Disha was found three weeks ago. Police quickly swung into action and started a probe into the case.

Four-year-old Snehitha attends the Shadnagar English Medium High School located at Shadnagar. On Tuesday evening, she returned home after school to an empty home as her parents, both daily labourers, are yet to come back.

While she was playing outside with other children, an unidentified bike stopped at a distance and called the girl. The girl went to him, and he made her sit on the bike’s pillion seat and sped away.

Later, her parents came home and found their child missing. After inquiring with neighbours, they learnt that an unidentified biker had kidnapped their child. They immediately lodged a complaint with Shadnagar police. Further investigation is underway.
