Shocking: CCTV shows Ex Madras HC judge beating daughter-in-law

Hyderabad: Retd Madras HC judge and his family were booked by the police last month based on a complaint filed by his daughter-in-law Sindhu Sharma. The complainant had stated that the judge, Nooty Ramamohan Rao, his wife, and his son Vasistha, had assaulted and attacked her. While the investigation was ongoing, a CCTV footage showing Sindhuās husband and her in-laws assaulting her became viral on social media. The footage dated April 20, shows the judgeās family beating Sindhu, even as her 18-month-old daughter looks on. The domestic violence video of Judge beating daughter-in-law went viral on Friday. Social media outrage was witnessed.

The issue became known when her daughter-in-law Sindhu protested outside their home at Jubilee Hills on April 2019, demanding that her daughter be given to her. She was successful after seven hours of protesting. Later, she complained with the Hyderabad Central Crime Station, and a case was registered against her husband and in-laws. . Sindhu Sharma alleged that all three including her husband Vasitha, father in law Nooty Rammohan Rao and mother in law attacked her. The judge's daughter in law Sindhu Sharma alleged that she was beaten up badly for dowry. Police said that they would verify the video of Judge beating daughter-in-law .
Meanwhile, Vasistha had approached the Nampally court in Hyderabad on Friday seeking a divorce from his wife, Sindhu Sharma. He urged the court to grant him a divorce and the custody of his children. The court admitted his plea, directed Sindhu Sharmaās counsel to file a counter, and adjourned the hearing to September 24.
